Scope of MEJS

The Missouri Electronic Journal of Sociology was developed to publish scholarly research that focuses on sociology in the state of Missouri.   Although we do not limit the researcher regarding his or her substantive area (e.g., the family, politics, urbanization, organizations, etc.) we do ask that events that took place in Missouri be a central focus of the research.  The journal welcomes all types of research methods, whether they be statistical or qualitative, comparative or historical.
